There are still spots available at the writing retreat Lauren Francis-Sharma and I are hosting in Chestertown, Maryland this winter. The dates are February 26 – March 1, 2026, and over four days, you can count on workshops, personalized mentorship, dedicated quiet time to write and reflect, evening readings by the fire, and some really good food.
We’re thrilled to be doing this in collaboration with Great Oak Manor, which overlooks the Chesapeake Bay. Kellye Walker and Werten Bellamy have created a true haven for writers, and they’ve done so much to bring this workshop to life.
Our hope is that you leave with feedback on your writing, but also with renewed energy, fresh inspiration, and a community of writers to support you long after the weekend ends.
