I’ll be in conversation with the writer Kevin Powers, who gave us THE YELLOW BIRDS and whose newest novel, CHILDREN OF THE WILD, comes out in June. I’ve read the book, and it’s incredible. One of the things I love about Kevin’s work is how even-handed he is when writing about the U.S. military and the short- and long-term effects of our engagements overseas. Given some of THE HALF LIFE’s themes, I think we’ll have a lot to discuss!
